Help us improve Connections and earn rewards! Report valid bugs through the in-app "Report a Bug" feature and receive free Boosts and Credits based on the severity of the issue.

Boosts & Credits

Earn free Boosts and/or Credits for every valid bug report. The reward amount depends on the severity of the bug, as determined by our team.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be a registered user of the Connections app with a verified account.
  • Bug reports must be submitted through the in-app "Report a Bug" feature using your registered email address.
  • One reward per unique bug. Duplicate reports of the same bug will not be rewarded.
  • Bugs must be reproducible on the latest version of the app available on the App Store or Google Play.

2. What Qualifies as a Valid Bug

A valid bug report must include:

  1. Your registered email address (used for verification and reward delivery)
  2. Clear title summarizing the issue
  3. Steps to reproduce the bug
  4. Expected behavior vs. actual behavior
  5. Screenshots or screen recordings (recommended)
  6. Device and OS version information (auto-collected by the app)

Examples of Valid Bugs

  • App crashes when opening a specific screen
  • Messages fail to send or appear garbled
  • Profile photos not loading or displaying incorrectly
  • Buttons or features not responding to taps
  • Incorrect text, wrong translations, or UI overlap
  • Notification issues (not received, wrong content)
  • Payment/subscription flow errors

What Does NOT Qualify

  • Feature requests or suggestions (use the feedback form instead)
  • Slow performance due to poor network conditions
  • Issues already reported by another user
  • Bugs on jailbroken/rooted devices
  • Intentional behavior or design choices
  • Security vulnerabilities (report these to connections@dating-universe.com)

3. Reward Tiers

Rewards are determined by bug severity after our team verifies the report:

Severity Description Reward
Low Minor UI glitches, typos, cosmetic issues that don't affect functionality Boosts and/or Credits
Medium Features not working correctly, unexpected behavior, data display errors Boosts and/or Credits
High App crashes, data loss, security issues, payment errors, broken core features Boosts and/or Credits
Note: Our team determines the final severity level and reward amount. The severity you select when submitting is used as guidance. Higher severity bugs receive greater rewards.

4. How It Works

  1. Report: Use the "Report a Bug" screen in the app. Enter your registered email, describe the bug with all required details, and attach screenshots.
  2. Review: Our QA team reviews the report within 3-5 business days.
  3. Verification: We attempt to reproduce the bug. If confirmed, it's marked as "Verified."
  4. Reward: Once verified, your reward (Boosts/Credits) is automatically added to the account linked to your email within 24 hours.
  5. Notification: You'll receive a push notification when your reward is credited.

5. Rules & Limitations

  • Maximum of 10 rewarded bug reports per user per month.
  • You must provide the email address registered with your Connections account. Reports with unregistered or fake emails will not be eligible for rewards.
  • Rewards (Boosts and Credits) earned through bug reports are subject to expiration as per our standard reward policies.
  • Rewards cannot be transferred to other users or converted to cash.
  • Submitting false, fabricated, or spam reports may result in temporary suspension from the program.
  • We reserve the right to modify reward amounts or program terms at any time.
  • If multiple users report the same bug, only the first valid report receives the reward.
  • Bug reports involving intentional exploitation, reverse engineering, or tampering with the app are strictly prohibited and may lead to account termination.

6. Privacy & Data

  • Bug reports may include your email, device information, app version, and screenshots you provide.
  • Your email is used solely to verify your account and deliver rewards.
  • This data is used solely for bug investigation and improving the app.
  • Screenshots are stored securely and deleted within 90 days of bug resolution.
  • Your personal account data is never shared externally as part of bug investigation.
